Ironwood Motel at 112 West Cloverland Drive, Ironwood, Michigan.

On Labor Day weekend up in the U.P. the weather was chilly and a harbinger of fall. Many motels were full up, like the Quinn on Cloverland Drive in Ironwood, MI. Right next door was an almost-empty motel called Ironwood Motel. There was an office, but nobody there. The instructions said pick up the phone and dial "redial". A man answered and walked me through the process. His instructions were perfect. He was so polite and easy. I swiped my own debit card, input the cost + tax, and it printed out a receipt to sign. I picked up the key and the smoke-free room was clean and nice, with THREE (count 'em) beds, a CD player with speakers attached, a wide-screen TV, a fridge/freezer, a microwave and more! And yes, the wi-fi works perfectly! I shall come back here in the fall (for the colors) and in winter to ski Indianhead or Blackjack close-by. Awesome!
